Each of our internships give students valuable first-hand knowledge in all areas of digital marketing, and will allow them to work closely with the leaders of our SEO, content, social media marketing and management departments for a hands-on learning experience. SEO Department: Community Engagement and Content Writing Intern
Are you a creative, resourceful, error-free writer? Are you able to work with a steep learning curve and take independent initiative? Are you creative? Do you like connecting with bloggers and communities? Are you eager to learn about the ever-evolving Search Engine Optimization (SEO) industry?
Then you may be a fit for our content writer/community engagement internship. Our interns work closely under the supervision of the Search Engine Department, and tasks will include everything from content composition to digital relationship building.
Although we do prefer previous internship experience or academic experiences in journalism, marketing, editing, and creative writing, it’s not required. SEO Department: Paid Search Advertising
The Zen Media Group is currently seeking an intern to focus on paid search advertising. If you want to be at the forefront of digital marketing, this is the internship for you. In this position, you will learn key PPC tactics and administration, including:
- The fundamentals of PPC advertsiting
- How to research for, and assist in, creating and optimizing PPC campaigns
- How to develop, implement, report on, and analyze PPC campaigns top to bottom
Desired skills in this position include strong experience with Microsoft Excel, strong written and verbal communication skills, a data-driven, analytical approach to problem solving, as well strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines. The ability to work independently, as well as with a team, in a fast-paced, goal oriented environment is also essential

Content Department: Web Content Writing and Blogging Intern
Do you love to write? Does it make you cringe when you see someone slaughter a sentence using poor grammar? Do you have a knack for research? We’re looking for a virtual content marketing intern for the fall of 2013. In this role, you will help to produce web content for a diverse group of clients and assist with developing blog content, web content, bios, newsletters and more. You’ll also work closely with the SEO and SMM teams to coordinate these efforts and learn the important role each element plays in our marketing strategy and planning.
To qualify, you must have or be working towards a degree in journalism, English, communications or marketing, have excellent writing and research skills, have experience writing various types of copy, be deadline driven and have the ability to produce quality content quickly.
