VP of Media Relations

We are looking for the IDEAL candidate to run PR efforts for us and our clients. Majority b2b and tech.

Desired Skills and Experience

  • You have at least 5 years working in PR, specific experience in media relations, technology, public relations, integrated media relations. B2B PR and Tech PR experience a plus.
  • You are proud of your rolodex!
  • You are a team player.
  • You want to build and lead a team.
  • You have pitched new business successfully.
  • You have demonstrated success in securing top-tier press placements that have an impact on the client’s bottom line.
  • You know how to navigate stakeholders, thought leaders, and media.
  • You are a strategic partner with internal and external stakeholders and can think outside the box to create insightful and impactful media moments.
  • You are a strong communicator – your emails get responses!
  • You are creative and a great storyteller.
  • You show solid judgement and take responsibility.
  • You have an innate curiosity and take great pride in your work.
  • You are organized and make Marie Kondo look like an amateur. You don’t need systems handed to you. You are happy to create some!
  • You understand that PR is all about taking advantage of the RIGHT moments. You know what’s trending and how to piggyback on trends.
  • You enjoy working remotely and have no problem getting it done!
