Public Relations Manager

We are looking for a PR manager to lead day-to-day operations, develop strategy, and create meaningful relationships with our innovative clients.

Our clients represent some of the top up-and-coming brands in tech, fintech, business, and professional services, and are looking for a PR partner to think two steps ahead of them.

This position reports to the Director of Media Relations, is part of one of the best PR teams in the industry, and is a 100% remote position.

Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

    Leading client calls/updating agendas
    Developing angles and stories that result in securing media placements
    Pitching media through both traditional, and non-traditional ways including email, phone, Twitter, and LinkedIn
    Working with Director of Media Relations to develop PR plans/rollouts
    Securing thought leadership pieces and drafting abstracts
    Creating contributed content possibilities for clients
    Working interdepartmentally with content, social media, SEO, and account management teams
    Conducting media training as needed

Job Requirements:

    You have at least 5-7 years working in tech or business PR, with specific experience in media relations, PR, and/or corporate communications.
    You have strong contacts and relationships with business, trade, and tech media.
    You are up on current trends in business, tech, fintech, and B2B consumerism.
    You understand the importance PR has with our clients and you value that relationship.
    You are thoughtful, strategic, and stay calm working on deadlines.
    You are a team player.
    You come up with creative pitches that result in placement.
    You have demonstrated success in securing top-tier press placements that have an impact on the client’s bottom line.
    You have experience developing and placing thought leadership pieces for C-suite executives.
    You are a strong communicator – your emails get responses!
    You take both pride and responsibility for your work.
    You understand that PR is all about taking advantage of the RIGHT moments, and you know what’s trending and how to piggyback on trends.
